Mrs. H. W. Wood, Jr., Has Operation for Appendicitis.
Drs. C. E. Johnson and I. M. Washburn, assisted by a Chicago surgeon, Tuesday performed an appendicitis operation of Mrs. Harvey W. Wood, Jr., at the Wood home on River street. The operation proved quite a serious one, the appendix being filled with pus and there being a number of adhesions, While the condition found was quite serious it is believed that Mrs. Wood will recover and be restored to perfect health.
