Mexican Outlaw Captured By United States Soldiers.
Maximo Castillo, Mexican bandit, was captured in New Mexico Monday by United States soldiers. Members of the Ninth Cavalry made the capture 38 miles south of the town of Hachita. Castillo is charged with responsibility for Cumbre tunnel disaster, in which ten Americans and 41 others lost their lives. He is a noted bandit and for some time seemed to have the sanction of Villa and other leaders in the Mexican rebel army. He wandered across the line into the United States while making a detour around a small mountain range. Army officers were given the tip thgt he was on American soil and they were prepared to receive him. It is probable, that he will have to be Surrendered to the rebel troqps, althought the United States may hold him for some time.
