P. L McManus Promoted; Will Succeed A. H. Westfall.
P. L- McManus, who has been the superintendent of the Monon lor three years or more, has selected to succeed to the office of general superintendent, succeeding A. H. Wstfall, who has tendered his resignation. tMr. McManus will h/ave his headquarters in Lafayett j, He came to the Monon soon after Fairfax Harrison became the president He is one of the hardest working employes on the road and one of the most admired by the employes In all branches of the service. John and William Remley w-nd the former’s son, Gaylord, left with a car of freight for Poplar, Mont, Tuesday. Mrs. Remley and little daughter went to Wheatfldd to visit relatives until the men get through with the oar. The Remley restaurant near the old depot, has been leased by Alva Best, the buttermaker at the Dexter creamery.
