HANGING GROVE.
Mintie Williamson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Williamson, was again taken quite sick while at the home of Floyd Miller Wednesday. Her father has been poorly of late years, suffering with frequent attacks of heart trouble, and the girl seems to be affected in a similar manner. The parents will try and find some medical relief for her before the disease gets deeply seated. W. S. Lawman is still confined to the home with grip. Charles Bussell killed a wolf last Tuesday in a field near where they were carrying corn. The wolves have been frequenting that neighborhood considerable lately and have made some attempts to get into his wild goose park. John has bought the old Baily farm of E. J. Hammerbacker. The farm contains 100 acres in all, 80 acres where the improvements are and 20 acres north of the Banfa school house. Mrs. Sarah Ren, of Winamac, is visiting-her sister, Mrs. A. Williamson, and family. Chas. Swing shelled corn Tuesday and Wednesday. Chas. Hague’s father was buried at Brookston Saturday. Gifford Marrs and Chas. Lefler went up to the former’s farm near* Laura Wednesday, making the trip on a motor car, but on the return trip the car was disabled so they were compelled to return on a hand car. i Mrs. R. V. Johns’ mother is very' sick at her home in Monon.
