Sale will take place inside the barn and cows may be left at the barn until Monday by purchasers from a distance. Dr. E. C. English has purchased of S. T. Hackley, of Remington, the old Woods farm of Iliya acres. 4 miles south of Rensselaer. The consideration was $75 per acre. Ernest Mayhew has purchased a tract of 26 acres in Barkley township, across t the road from James Britt, paying SSO per acre. Both deals were made by Harvey Davisson. Frank Seigfried, of South Bend, an eccentric character, who died recently in the St. Joseph county ibfirmary penniless, is likely to be honored by a monument being placed at his grave, the gift of the citizens of South Bend, Seigfried suffered injuries in the civil war, which are supposed to have weakened his Blind. A committee of citizens is anxious to honor the veteran and already a large sum has been subscribed for a monument.

Mr. Kleine is the producer as “Quo Vadis,” and “The Last Days of Pompeii,” and this production eomes up to the standard of the other two. “Antony and Cleopatra” will be Mr. Kleine’s next production at The Princess. Suit for a receiver has beep filed in the Kosciusko circuit court by L. Park Drayer, of Ft. Wayne, against the Wawasee Inn company. Jn the complaint it is set forth that on Oct. 15, 1912, the plaintiff accepted a note from the Wawasee Inn company for the sum of $3,000. The note was for ninety days with interest at the rate of 6 per cent. The plaintiff claims that none of the money has been ipaid and no interest has been paid and demands judgment in the sum of $3,500.
