Some One Drove Mrs. Drake’s Horse Away Saturday Eve.
Saturday evening Morris Moloner and sister, Mrs. Drake, drove to town and left their horse hitched and the carriage on Front street, near the Rensselaer Garage. At about 10 o’clock they went to get the horse and it was gone. A search did not locate the animal and for a time it was believed it had been gftolen. Sunday morning the buggy was found in the east paTt of town and later the horse was located near the home of John Zimmer, 5 miles northwest of town. Evidently some one had driven the horse for a time and was afraid to bring it back and had unhitched it and turned it loose. A stiff fine and a few days in jail would be proper punishment if the culprit could be apprehended.
