The paints, which are applied with a brush in the case of silk, are specially prepared so that, once dry, they remain indelible, and will stand both washing and ironingFtor velvet the mode of application IS similar to that when one is icing a cake, tiny paper bags of paint being squeezed between 1 the. fingers.
