Classes resumed last Tuesday morning after the two weeks holiday recess. The student register continues to be more than filled. Several of the last term scholars did not return, but the new applications more than fin the few vacancies, The senior basketball league has been organized and will begin its regular schedule of games Saturday afternoon. Poliowing are the team, managers: Albert Pessafall, Seniors; Rowland Kruetzer, Commercials; Herald Maloney, IY Lab ns; Leo Beck, HI Latins; Michael Dowling, U Latins. In spite of the ack of preliminary practice, owing o the condition of the gymnasium, the league race promses to be close and interesting. The other leagues will also be organized within the next few days. The varsity is taaning strenuously for its long and hard schedule. The victory over Co, M has given /hern confidence, and they are gp mg into the fray with the determination to better the records of i /he last two seasons, during which ;ime they have not lost a game on the home floor; this they Intend to continue and at the same time to 1 >ring back with them more scalps from the enemy’s territory.
