The first zone rate for parcel post packages now in effect provides 5 cents for the first pound and 1 cent for each 2 pounds up to 50 as a local rate, which means tor distribution where not carried on trains. The zone rate, however, is 5 cents tor the first pound and 1 cent for each additional pound where carried on trains.
