After a lively discussion the house Monday voted down a bill approved by Postmaster General Burleson, authorizing the postmaster general to enter/into contracts for transporting the mail by aeroplane /or by any other similar device when deemed to the public interest. Service by aeroplane has been suggseted for remote parts of the United States, particularly in arid sections and in Alaska.
