C. E. McDaniel, of Boswell, came to Rensselaer yesterday evening and visited Comrade Ebenezer Mabb over night. They have been friends for many years but this was their first meeting for fourteen years.

Northwestern' Michigan is virtually filled with potatoes. A firm in Cadillac has 50,000 bushels stored for fanners, who ar eawaiting for a higher price. Another firm has 30,000 bushels stored. Buyers in othpr towns report that only one-third of the potato crop has been sold.
