Crepe de Paris in Violet Shades Used for This Really Beautiful Evening Gown. The drawing shows a pretty evening gpwn of the new. and beautiful
crepe de Paris in violet shades. This material, which promises to be the rage for afternoon and evening gowns, Is one of the newest- importations. For the gown shown here it is used as bodice foundation and for the draped skirt. The upper, part of the corsage Is draped withself-tone chiffon cloth, which, falling off from the shoulder, does duty as sleeve also, with
only the assistance of a band of velvet above the elbow. A band of jeweled passementerie marks the joining of the upper and Ipwer blouse portions just below the arms. Broad bands of black velvet edge the tunic, which is made of the chiffon and ends in a slight train. These velvet bands continue as far as the passementerie band on the blouse.
