Texas Reminiscences.
N. C. Duncan, W'heelock, Tex., is a veteran of the Mexican war, and the oldest survivor of the Texas pioneers He has gotten out a leaflet of his memoirs. He was one of a company of emigrants from Madison county, Tennessee, in 1835, for Texas. Among them were several who were captured by the Mexicans, and Santa Ana orders ed every Tenth man out of the 170 to be shot, which was done.
