Cucumber Sauce.
A new use for cucumbers Is in a sauce which may be made In quantity and kept to serve from time to time with cold meats and fish. With cucumbers at their best, now is a good time to try this. Uqe 12 large green cucumbers, one onion, half a teaspoonful of ted pepper and one teaspoonful Df salt Chop the onion and cucumbers and squeeze the water out of the latter in a piece of cbeescloth. Add salt and pepper and also one cup of hot vinegar. Mix all thoroughly and bottle In glasses with paraffin over the top.
