M. E. CONVENTION HERE TOMORROW
y Fifty-Four Churches of the District to Be Represented—Dr. H. L. . . Kin dig Will Be Hero. The members of the Trinity Methodist church are looking forward with expectation to the great Hammond district convention, to be held Thursday. The fifty-four churches of the district will he well represented by pastors and laymen. Rev. W. B. Morgan, of Monon, wrote the committee that he would come with fifteen laymen, ail in autos. Rev. F. 0. Fraley, of Hamrnond, will be present -with W. C. Belman, M. M. Towle and Jesse E. Wilson. Rev. J. S. Godwin, of Hobart, will bring A. Phillips and D. C. Frank. Rev. J. B. McNary writes Dr. Curnick that he will be on hand with at least fifteen men from his church. Rev. Reder, of Wolcott, will bring four laymen. The following will come from Roselawn and Mt. Ayr: Charles Ekstrom, Jay Makeever, Owen tM. Bwoks, Edgar Stewart, Rev. C. E. Downey. The local committee are expecting at least one hundred to attend the convention. The principal address of the convention will be mode by Rev. J. B. Trumble, of Kansas City, and Dr. Fred B. Fisher, of New York. The bapquet will be held at 6 o’clock in the basement of the church. Dr. Paul C. Curnick will be the toastmaster, At 7:45 a great mao* meeting will be held at which the public is invited. Addresses by several prominent visitors. Rev. H. L. Kindig, D. D., former pastor of the church here, now at Monticello, will be present as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Will O.
