HUERTA ELIMINATED BY PRESIDENT WILSON
Considers It Useless to Longer Parley With Him. President Wilson has indicated that he is irrevocably determined to no longer deal with Huerta, but that further steps to bring peace to Mexico‘are being considered. No move is expected, however, before October 26th, when the election will be held.. The* administration policy has been to use every possible means to restore peace, without resort to arms. The parleys have been carried on with Huerta up to the present time, hut his dishonest tactics which terminated in the imprison-’ ment of 110 of Ms deputies and insulting replies to diplomatic notes from this country have convinced President Wilson and Secretary Bryan that he is no longer worthy of any confidence. If Huerta could he entirely eliminated it seems possible that peace might be restored, and the president is said to be considering the lifting otf the embargo on arms in order to give the constitutionalists a chance to fight it out with the dictator:
