Obituary.
Sarah Jane Jenner was born July 16, 1837, in Rochester, N. Y., and died Oct. 6, 1913, in Rensselaer, Ind., aged 76 years, 2 months ahd 20 days. She was the daughter of Henry and Ruth Ann Jenner, who came to this country from Brighton, England. She spent 'her early years in Rochester, N. Y., and Lewis : town, Pa. On Sept 11, 1855, she was married to James W. McEwen at Lewiston by Rev. James S. Wood, and in 1859 removed to Monticello, Ind., and resided there until 1876, when she came with her family to this place and continued to make it her home. She and her husband lived together 58 years. They had five Children, one of whom survives, being Frances Bosfcwick, of this place. She was one of four children and leaves one brother, Henry Jenner, of Marion township, and one sister, Emily F. Sornberger, of Victoria, 111. She united with the Presbyterian church in early girlhood and led a consistent Christian life.
