St. Augustine Church Notes.
Next Sunday, the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost, the services at St. Augustine’s Catholic church will be as follows: Early mass with a short meditation on the Gospel at 8 a. m. High mass with sermon at 10. In the afternoon at 2:30 Christian doctrine, devotion and benediction. During the month of October holy rosary devotion each Wednesday and Friday evening at 7:30. Hiring the week following next Sunday weekday mass will be celebrated each morning at 6:15, instead of at 8 o’clock. Since last notice the following infants received the sacrament of baptism: Dorothea Elizabeth, daughter of John and Elizabeth Borntrager, born Sept. 23; Catherine Luella, daughter of Anthony and Catherine Keiper, born Oct. 7th. The members of the St. Rose Sodality are preparing an entertainment to be given at the parochial school hall on Saturday, Nov. Ist. Father Daniel, the pastor of St. Augustine’s church, will leave the latter part of this week for St. Louis and Clifton City, Mo., on business, and while there will pay Rev: Stanjslas Neiberg, at Sedalia, a visit. Father Daniel was formerly star tioned at Sedalia, as Rev. Neiberg’s first assistant. During his absence the Rev. Father of St. Joseph’s college will have charge of the parish.
