BALTIMORE'S SHOWER BATHS.
They Are Set Up In Bummer In Tents • on Vacant Lots. The city of Baltimore has a system of portable shower baths in which the residents of/the congested sections may enjoy both hot and cold water baths during the summer months. Although called portable the baths are not moved from place to place every lew hours but are housed under canvas or constructed of galvanised Iron sheeting. They are erected, says Popular Mechanics, on vacant lots In congested districts and remain at one place all summer, the “portable" meaning that they can then be taken down and packed away until required the nest year.
