The latter came as an agreeable surprise to the ladies, as the money will come in handy, to pay for the improvements made in the kitchen. The room, w’hich is finished In green and gold, with white trimmings and furnishings, was bright with flowers. Light refreshments were served, after which Mrs. Eger, in behalf of the ladies of the church, thanked the visitors from the Other churches who were present and had donated so generously.
