John O’Connor Mourning Death of Driving Mare.

Ex-Sheriff O’Connor was in from Kniman today to reports the death last week of his fine driving mare, “Black Belle,” which he purchased of Charles T. Denham several, years ago, when Mr. O’Connor was sheriff and Mr. Denham commissioner. The mare was 14 years of age and was sick about a week before It died, but veterinaries were unable to, save it.
