Former Hotel Keeper Died Aug. 12th in Wyoming.

Word reached here recently of the death at Basin City, Wyo., on Aug. 12th, of James L. Foster, who conducted the old Foster hotel, not far from the old depot and which was destroyed by fire about seven years ago. He had a stroke of paralysis and died soon after. His two sons, Louis and Paul, are married and live at Basin City. Mr. Foster went to Elwood after leaving Rensselaer and after three years’ residence there moved to Wyoming, where himself and sons proved umclaims. It was while living at Elwood that his daughter, Bessie Fster, committed suicide.
