A goodly number of republicans were out to attend the republican caucus meetings Monday evening, to discuss available timber for the offices to be elected in November and to plan the coming campaign. Various names were suggested for mayor, including J. N. Leatherman, Rex Warner, C. G. Spitler, A. F. Long, Dr. A. G. Catt, B. Forsythe and J, H. S. Ellis.
