New Main Street Bridge at Lafayette to Cost $260,000.

The Tippecanoe county coyncil Monday appropriated $2*50,000' for the construction of a new bridge over the Wabash river at Main street in Lafayette. The old bridge was wrecked by the flood last March." The, work on the new bridge is to start soon. Improvement to the levee will probably cost an additional $60,000.
