ANNUAL POW-WOW OF WABASH VALLEY
Rensselaer Red Men Have Engaged Special Car to Transport One Hundred to Delphi. ""■ ) ■ Tomorrow is the day of the big pow wow at Delphi, and Red Men from the Wabash valley will gather in that town in vast numbers and it is expected* to be the biggest event that has been pulled off in Carroll county for many years. The Rensselaer Red Men, known as the Pinkamink tribe, have engaged a -special car to be attached to the 11:32 train to take over 100 of the aboriginees. The boys’ band is to accompany them. They will return in the special car attached to the Hoosier Limited at 6:02 in the evening. The Delphi members of the order have arranged a fine program, starting with the band concert at 10 a. m. This will be followed by a parade. At 1 o’clock a business meeting of the tribal delegates takes place, at 1:30 a free street act, at 2 o’clock an address by Dr. Robinson, of Greenfield. At 3 p. m., a baseball game between the Delphi Comers and the Logansport Ottos; 5 p. m, another free act; 5:30, the Indian pow-wow and war dance. In the evening the free acts are to be repeated. Prizes will be awarded for the largest delegations.
