Making Substantial Changes In Tile Factory Equipment.
O H. Mills and W. I. Spitler, owners of the cement tile factory, are making some improvements in the plant, and electric motors are to replace the gasoline engine, while 45 small tile cars have been, pun chased and will be used to handle the tile instead of the foimer hand and wheelbarrow method. About 1,000 feet of track is being erected for the cars. The factory Is enjoying a good business and it is the Intention of the owners to make it a thoroughly up-to-date plant Jn every particular. The plant employs eleven hands, and Is about the largest employing business -in Rensselaer, outside of the stores.
