Tomato Catsup
Scald and peel ripe tomatoes, cook till soft, then press through sieve. To one gallon juice add one pint vinegar, two tablespoons salt, two tablespoons sugar, two tablespoons mustard, ground, one tablespoon allspice, one tablespoonful cinnamon, one teaspoon black pepper, one teaspoon cloves, three-quarters teaspoon red pepper.
