Mre. W. E. Yocam, of Checotah, Okla, who is visiting her mother and other relatives here, went to Winamac this morning, being accompanied by her brother, W. R. Lee. They will visit relatives there. Mrs. L. L. Lefler, of Lafayette, has been at Lee for some time for her health. She Is suffering from anemia, a blood condition. Mrs. Lefler came to Rensselaer this morning and reports that her husband has enjoyed a very successful year at Tecumseh Trail, near the soldiers’ home. He has had charge of that pleasure resort this summer. Recently Mr. Lefler and another man have also engaged in the taxicab business in Lafayette and are meeting with splendid success.
