Joyce was one of eix democratic candidates. His opponents, Charles W. Weldler, John A. Ziedgoski, Nelson Kysey, .Reuben A. Fink, and Christian Ward, forced him to make a hard fight. Nelson Kyser, one of the defeated candidates, is a factory inspector and visits this city on his tours over the state
