Flora Cigar Maker Has Been Missing Since July 1st.
Much concern is being manifested by the friends and relatives of Clifford Wilson, of Flora, proprietor of the Flora Cigar company, over his mysterious disappearance. On Tuesday, July 1, he telephoned his wife from Indianapolis, telling her that he would be in Lafayette the following day. Nothing has been heard of him since. He had been in Indianapolis on business and had collected a large sum of money at that place. It is said by his friends that he was fond of showing his money and it is believed by them that he met with foul play. The police have been notified and are doing all in their power to locate the missing man. According to the friends and relatives of Mr. Wilson there is no reason known why he would voluntarily desert his family and business.
