Indications Favorable For Burris Girl’s Recovery.
Indications are favorable for the recovery of Miss Regina Burris, the 16year«>ld girl who took carbolic acid Monday morning with suicidal intent Her fever was up to 102% Monday evening and the pulse up to 120, but the temperature had fallen to about 100 this Tuesday morning. So far no kidney trouble has developed and it is quite probable that there will be no complications of that kind. The attending physician is watching it with great care, however. The burns in the girl’s mouth and throat do not seem very bad, although she states that she took 1% teaspoonsful dt the poison. j
