Miss Hattie Grant Hurt When Horse Upset Buggy.

As Mrs. Gus Grant and Miss Hattie Grant were near the Allie Francis home to which they were driving in a buggy last. Sunday, their horse became frightened at a motorcycle driven by Ed Honan and on which Sam Duvall was riding on the luggage seat. The horse was off to the side of the road and Honan did not think it had frightened, but Duvall saw that it was and jumped from the machine. The hojfce pulled the buggy into the ditch and it was overturned and the occupants thrown out quite violently. Miss Grant was quite severely injured, her right thigh being badly bruised from the hip to the knee, her right arm bruised and the right side of her head scratched and bruised. The attending physician says that it was a mighty close call to a fracture of her leg. Mrs. Grant also suffered several severe bruises,''although'not nearly so severe as Miss Grant.
