L. H. Rich to Be Office Man at Harrington Elevator.
L H. Rich, formerly of Goodland, but for several months employed by Lipsey & Co., a Chicago grain commission firm, has taken a position in the Harrington Bros.’ elevator in Rensselaer .and will be associated with H. E. Hartl w, the managed. He will be employe 1 as a bookkeeper and weighmaster. He has worked in dev > tors before and is an experience 1 gr.fi man. He is a young gentleman of splendid appearance and will doubtless make many friends here.
' Mrs. Frank Foltz entertained about twenty at a dinner party Monday evening at 6 o’clock in honor of her hurt>and’s birthday, which was the day before. A splendid supper was served and the evening was devoted to music and card playing and a delightful time is reported by guests.
Mrs. S. C. Irwin entertained about thirty couples, mostly young married people, at the armory Monday evening, at dancing and card playing, having as guests of. honor, Mrs. F. W. Sherman, of Minneapolis, and Mrs. D. S. Dibble, of Cannon, Minn., who are her house guests. The evening was delightfully spent, being cool and very pleasant for dancipg. The music was furnished by Lon and Paul Healey and Perry Horton, Lon and Perry alternating at the piano./'
