Feeding Young Chicks.
I teed my chlokens corn meal ant fine beef scraps mixed with milk putting in fine bran or middllngl when they are six months old. 1 have a crate for each coop and keel the chickens -under it until the latter part of June, so that I can alwayi know where they are. • I feed thr chicks a little poultry food once I day. I always have a wooden bottom In my coops. I put a little straw is the coops three or four times through the season and bunt it out. This kllli all vermin and leaves the coop cleaa for the hen and chickens. —Samuel Coed.
