Misses Cordelia and Leona Garling, of Frankfort, who have been visiting Miss Leota Muster, left this morning for Francesville for a visit with their cousin, Mss Alma Garling, who has also been visiting here.

A new sun parlor has been erected at the southwest second floor corner of Mrs. A. Farkison’s residence on Forest street, and hard wood floors are now being placed therein. Some other improvements are also being made in the house. The 2f-year-old daughter of Mr 1 , and Mrs. Wilbur Stallard, of Brook, died last Saturday morning after a very brief sickness. She suffered spasms the evening before and died without relief. Physicians were unable to determine the cause of her death. Mr. and Mrs. Ves Richards went to Monon Sunday and took the excursion train to Michigan City.
