Peter’s parents neglected to license the animal, and It fell In tfie hands of the dog . warden, who impounded It. When Peter learned that his dog was In pound he went to the dog warden and tearfully begged that the dog be not " killed. “I’ll earn the money to pay for the license," he promised. The dog warden told the boy to %o ahead and earn the money, and a few days later he appeared with the $2 and received a license. He took the dog away With him.
