Doctor Williams, superintendent of school at Richmond,. advises tho school board not to employ women teachers who were either startling beautiful or equally homely The objection, he said was that a teacher whose personal lookß were unusual would attract more attention to herself than to her teaching. He believes that teachers ought not to attract attention to themselves in any way.
