Alfalfa Demonitration On C. F. Mansfield Farm.

Everyone interested in alfalfa raising should witness the demonstration on Mr. Mansfield’s farm next Saturday at 2 o’clock. Prof. J. M. Beaver, the head of .the soils and crop extension department of Purdue University .will be in charge. There is an excellent stand of this crop at Mr. Mansfield’s farm which was put in under the direction of the Purdue experts. At this meeting will be shown thef proper methods of raising this crop. The seeding, the preparation of the soil, and the care of the crop to the getting to maturity, and the care and methods of preparing it for market, in fact, every phase of the growing "and care of this lucrative crop.
