Mr. and Mrs. L. McCoy came yesterday from Battle Creek, Mich., tc visit their aunt, Mrs. Margaret Pul lin, and their cousin, Mrs. Laura Fate, at the Makecvtr hotel. Born, Monday, May 19th, to Mr. and Mrs. Marion Learning, of Lafayette, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Learning, on Van Rensselaer street, Rensselaer, a son. Mrs. Charles Sommers, south of town, who has been quite sick with an acute attack of brights disease, is now somewhat improved and the family is much encouraged about her condition. Chase V. Day returned to Wheatfield this morning after a short visit at home. He is lathing Simon Fendig’s new home and has several other jobs in that part of the county.
