Quick Bleaching.
Handkerchiefs and white clothe* that have become yellow from use of too much soap, or any other cause, may be whitened in the following manner: After washing let them soak over night in a tub of clear water, to which is added a teaspoonful of cream of tartar. When ironed they will be a pure white.
