To Clean Feathers.

Into a strong paper bag put about one cupful of plain household flour and half the quantity of powdered borax. Shake well to thoroughly mix. Then put the feathers in the bag and shake gently till clean. If very dirty, repeat this process. This is much more satisfactory than using soap and water, aa it saves recurllng.
