People who suffer from annoyance of winter togs In their rooms or offices should keep a kettle of water (preferably one with a long spout) on the fire always boiling. In a few minutes, when the steam has diffused itself about the apartment, the fog will in a great measure be considerably lightened, and the remainder being so harmless the atmosphere will be much easier to breathe.
