Clubs. The library committee of the Federation, Mesdames H. Jones, Lough and Robinson and Rev. McNary, were at home to the citizens of this community last Saturday from 4:00 to 6:30 in the new library quarters in the old National Bank building. A book shower had been announced and the result Was some 300 volumes of good literature placed on the shelves for a beginning of what promises to be a very popular undertaking. One gentleman gave 30 volumes. Callers were served witli an appetizing luncheon. The committee met with encouragement and assistance in every way, and are very grateful to all concerned.
