Wm. Klein.called on G. L. Parks Sunday. Alden, son of Wm. Klein, has the measles. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Parks were in Remington Monday. Leon Parks and James Boone spent Sunday in Wolcott. G. L. Parks and son, Russell, were in Rensselaer Monday. Born, April 25, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grouns, a daughter. Thos. Spencer shipped his cattle to Chicago the first of the week. George Foulks was called back to Rensselaer as juror Tuesday. Vern Culp and Belle Southard spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Vanatta. John Sommers, Jr., and family spent Sunday with G. L. Parks and family. David Benson and son, Cecil, who visited relatives here last week, returned home. Vern Culp and Belle Southard took dinner Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Vanatta. Chas. Marchand, who has been ditching near Kentland, came home Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Frances, of Rensselaer, spent last week with George Foulks. Elmer Johnson’s kitchen took fire last week, and burned the roof, but the fire was then under control. He now has it reroofed. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. McCashen were in Lee Monday. Their new house is now almost completed. They are moving into it this week.
