Mother’s Day to Be Observed Sunday, May 11.
Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, is a day set aside by the whole of North America to honor universal motherhood. Every one sends flowers to mother. Every one wears a flower in honor of mother.
Everyone gives a white flower to some one else to wear in memory of the loving mother if living fir who may have passed away. Flowers should be in every sick room. The white carnation is the favorite flower. Its virtues are similar to those of the mother. Its whiteness stands for purity. Its form for beauty. Its fragrance love. Its wide field of growth charity.
