GUARD DOOR OF PRESIDENT'S OFFICE

Sergeant C. L. Dalrymple (left) and E. M. Seaman (right), two officers of the police department who hold down the much-sought-for jobs just Inside the doors of the executive offices at Washington. Their real work is to keep cranks and undesirable callers from getting into the offices. Both have qualified as experts in the wotk and many a crank has been removed without creating any disturbance.
