NEW STELLAR DISCOVERY
Lowell Observatory Scientists Declare That the Light of Nebulae Is Reflected. Flagstaff, Ariz.—lt has been discovered at toe Lowell observatory through spectroscopic observations that the nebulae in toe pleiadee were illuminated by toe reflected light of neighboring stars. It Is regarded as a discovery of great importance to toe astronomical world because of its direct bearing on the nature of thousands of other nebulae and on evolution of the stellar system.. The supposition has always been that the nebulae were self-lighting; that is, that they were composed of fiery substance. The discovery would Indicate that they are cold bodies.
