A “PEEPING TOM” AGAIN REPORTED
---r~ • • -.***'.. "Tt Sneak Whs Looks in Windows Said to Have Been Busy for Several Nights Recently.
Probably there is nothing more despisable than a brute who prowls about at night end peeps in windows. The sensual mind that is back of the eyes would commit a worse crime if he had the courage. One of these sneaks, and that is k mild term to employ toward him, recently showed considerable boldness' in this regard and would go from one house to another in. the same neighborhood. The attention of. officers was called to his actions and the officers believe they lined up the right man, although he was not caught red-handed, but the neighbors all thought the right fellow was caught. He talked with some bravado as he denied that he was the party. The fellow who was caught was in jail recently for bfr ing drank. He is an undesirable citizen and the ne?t time he gets into the hands of.officers he should be given a chance to leave town or take the “limit.” A window-peeper, coward though he be, can come about as near scaring a lone woman into a fit Of nervous prostration as anything we know of and it would be a big temptation to take a shot at a fellow guilty of such practice.
