Hermansen, a graduate of the Rensselaer high school, and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hermansen, of Gillam township, recently completed a course of nurse’s training at the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago and is now a graduate'nurse. She was at the hospital for three and a half years and was so much liked by the hospital authorities that she has been offered an institutional position as head nurse in the operating room.
