C., that James Cullen, of this city, the popular Monon passenger engineer, will be given a place on the Interstate Commerce commission. It is said that John W. Kern, junior United States senator from Indiana, is behind the movement to reward Mr. Cullen for permitting William Jennings Bryan, secretary of state, to ride on his engine from Brookston to Lafayette.
